Wick, Petaluma, Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce, spoke regarding a bike race to be held September 3 in Petaluma. Motion for Reconsideration of Action Taken by the City Council on Previous Motion to Accept Resignation of Stephanie McAllister from the Planning Commission and to Deny Her Withdrawal of Said Resignation. Council Member O'Brien MOTION: Approve Motion for Reconsideration of Action Taken by the City Council on Previous Motion to Accept Resignation of Stephanie McAllister from the Planning Commission and to Deny Her Withdrawal of Said Resignation. (Motion made at August 1, 2005 Council Meeting). Moved by Mike O'Brien, seconded by Mike Harris Council Member Nou Council Member Torliatt Mayor Glass Public Comment Matti Christensen, Petaluma, on thoroughness and professionalism of Planning Commission and the workings of democracy. Asked that Stephanie McAllister remain on the Planning Commission. Tonight's decision is about standards Council sets for members of committees, employees, etc. What message would Council send to the community? Geoff Cartwright, Petaluma, spoke on the City's difficulty in filling positions on committees and urged Council to vote no on motion.
