The subdivision received tentative map approval on September 20, 2004. The final map and improvement plans were submitted to the Community Development Department and at least two reviews have been completed. The developer is requesting permission to commence grading activity on the subdivision site prior to final map approval. Ordinance No. 1576 NCS and 2210 NCS; and, WHEREAS,•the developer agrees to comply with the Regional Water Quality Control Board's policies, file a Notice of Intent and prepare a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan; and, WHEREAS, the developer agrees to enter into a grading agreement and provide surety to secure the performance of the grading work; and, WHEREAS, the developer shall obtain a grading permit from the Community Development Department, NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Petaluma that authorization to grade Riverview Subdivision prior to final map approval is approved.
