Resolution Declaring Vehicles and Equipment Surplus with Exhibit A (Listing of surplus equipment and vehicles) Summary Statement: The City has identified ten (10) vehicles and equipment that are in excess to the needs of the City. Other City department cannot use the vehicles and/or equipment. The vehicles may have a value in excess of $500 and therefore Council is required to declare them surplus. Recommended Citv Council Action/Sueeested Motion: Adopt the resolution declaring the vehicles and equipment surplus. Reviewed by Finance Director: r / Todav's Date: October 18, 2005 Review�ed.b'e6ity Attornev: t• Revision # and Date Revised: ADuroved by City Manaeer: ee- Date: File RESOLUTION DECLARING VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT TO BE SURPLUS TO THE CITY'S NEEDS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DISPOSE OF THE SURPLUS VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PETALUMA MUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS, the City has identified vehicles and equipment to no longer be of use to the City; and WHEREAS, the identified vehicles and equipment (Exhibit A) are declared surplus to the City's needs and no longer required by the City. One of the patrol cars (73) has been pulled back at the request of the Police Department from being surplused.
