HomeMy WebLinkAboutPCDC Resolution 90-02 06/04/1990PETALUMA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 90- AUTHORIZE SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR REPLACEMENT OF FLOATING DOCKS AND ACCESS RAMPS FOR PETALUMA RIVER TURNING BASIN WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has adopted a River Walk Master Plan; and WHEREAS, initial portions of the plan have been constructed, including Putnam Plaza and the John Balshaw Pedestrian Bridge; and WHEREAS, the River Festival Committee is willing to donate $20,000 toward the continued improvement of the Turning Basin; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Petaluma Community Development Commission supports the continued efforts of improving access to the river and authorizes staff to solicit bids for the replacement of existing public docks and related facilities in conjunction with the offer of the River Festival Committee to increase the floating dock footage in the Turning Basin.
