In addition, upon approval of this resolution, the Executive Director will direct that a letter be submitted to SCTA requesting that $4M of Measure M funds be contributed toward advancement the project. This will bring the combined total to $4M local funds, plus $19AM from Measure M and TCRP funds, or a project budget of $23AM for Fiscal Year 06/07. Recommended PCDC Action/Suggested Motion: Approval of resolution authorizing the Executive Director to allocate $4M from PCDC account undesignated fund balance to East Washington Interchange Project C500306 77a D'r• (b 1 Todav's Date: 12/16/05 Reviewed by City Attornev: Date: Revision # and Date Revised: Annroved by City Manager: Date: File Code: RESOLUTION # 2005- EXHIBIT A PETALUMA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ALLOCATE $4M FROM PCDC ACCOUNT UNDESIGNATED FUND BALANCE TO EAST WASHINGTON INTERCHANGE PROJECT C500306 WHEREAS, the Petaluma Community Development Commission acknowledges that the East Washington Interchange ramp improvement component of Caltrans' Sonoma/Marin Narrows Project needs to be completed in advance of the larger project; and WHEREAS, the PCDC has been requested by Caltrans to commit $4M in local funds toward advancement of this component; and WHEREAS, upon PCDC's commitment of funding to Caltrans, it is this body's understanding that WAM from Transportation Congestion Relief Program (TCRP) funds will be contributed toward this ramp improvement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Petaluma Community Development Commission hereby authorizes the Executive Director to allocate $4M from PCDC account undesignated fund balance to East Washington Interchange Project C500306. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the PCDC authorizes Executive Director to submit a letter to Caltrans committing $4M toward Caltrans' East Washington rainp improvement component of the Sonoma/Marin Narrows Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that PCDC authorizes Executive Director to direct that a letter be sent to Sonoma County Transportation Authority (SCTA), requesting that $4M in Measure M funds be contributed toward the advancement of this improvement.
