PETALUMA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
CITY OF PETALUMA, STATE. OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO 85-2
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BOND BID
WHEREAS, the Petaluma Community Deve opment Commission
(the "Commission"), by Resolution. No. 84-8, adopted December 3,
1984, as amended by Resolution No. 85-1 adopted April 15,
198 5 has. authorized the issuance of $1,075,000 principal amount
of its Petaluma Central Business District Redevelopment Project,
Tax Allocation Bonds, Series A (the "Bonds"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No.85-1 adopted
April 15 ~ 198, the Commission called for sealed proposals
for the purchase of the Bonds;
WHEREAS, at 10:00 a.m., May 6, 1985, sealed bids for
the purchase of the .Bonds were received and have been reported
to the Commission; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the bid of
~IERRILL LYNCH PIERCE FENNER ~ SMITH is the lowest bid for the
Bonds, and the .Commission finds such bid to be acceptable
considering the interest rate(s) specified, discount requested
or the premium offered;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PETALUMA
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION as follows:

hereby is accepted and upon the issuance of the Bonds, the
Finance Officer of the City of Petaluma hereby is authorized and
directed to deliver the Bonds to said purchaser thereof upon
payment to the Finance Officer of the City of the purchase price
set forth in the bid of such purchaser.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced and adopted by the Petaluma Community Development
Commission at a (~~~~~/special) meeting on the 6th day of May,
1985, by the following vote:
AYES: Balshaw, Cavanagh,. Davis, Tencer, Chairman Mattei
NOES : None
ABSENT: Woolsey, Vice Chairman Bond
