The minutes for November 19, 1979, were approved as amended, the Pled e of Allegiance was led by "Shawn Buffandeau ". The December 10, 1979 minutes were approved as clarified by the City Attorney. "Last sentence of Ordinance No. 1391 is revised to read, "The otion to amend the Ordinance was introduced by Councilmen Harberson and seconded by Councilman Balshaw." On page 2, the first sentence is mended to read, "Council introduced the amended ordinance with maximum density The Consent Calendar was introduced by Councilman Cavanagh, seconded by Councilman Battaglia. Resolution No. 8739 N.C.S., extending time to file the final map for North San Francisco Bay Industrial Park No. 2B until June 20, 1980. Resolution No. 8740 N.C.S., accepting completion of the 1979 Street Resurfacing Program- Project 9681. . Resolution No. 8741 N.C.S., awarding bid for ten (10) radios for the Police /Water Departments to General Electric Company. Resolution No. 8742 N.C.S. to abandon and close a portion of an alley to public use between Fair and Sheldon Streets, north of English Street. December 17, 1979 REZONE PORTION Introduce Ordinance No. 1393 N.C.S. amending OF BLOCK - 'TUNZI Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., by rezoning PARKWY., UPHAM & , Assessor's Parcels Nos. 006 - 320 -6, 7, 12, 13, BAKER STREETS 16, 17, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, :29, 30, 31, - ORD. # 1393 NCS 34, and 35 (portion of block bounded by Bodega Avenue, Tunzi Parkway, Upham & Baker Streets) from RC (Compact Zone) to R -1- 6,500 (Single Family Residential). DAVID D. YOUNG APPEAL- The Council acknowledged receipt of a request WITHDRAWN - DENIAL OF from David D.. Young to withdraw his appeal of the PRE ZONING RE QUEST Planning Commission denial of his prezoning request for property located on North McDowell Boulevard. Ori motion the request to withdraw the previously submitted appeal was granted. MOBILE HOME ZONING Adopted Ordinance No. 1392 N.C.S. amending Section DISTRICT 8.1 -500.1 of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S. ORD. # 1392 NCS to require application for creation of Mobile Home Zoning District to contain certain information. WESTRIDGE PARK- ACCEPT Resolution No. 8743 N.C.S. accepting the completion COMPLETION OF CERTAIN of certain work at Westridge Park (Neighborhood WORK Park Project) . RE80 # 8743 NCS RADAR ENFORCEABLE SPEED ZONES Ord. # 1394 NCS STREET LIGHT STANDARD POLICY RESO # 8744 NC Introduce Ordinance No. 1394 N..C..S. establishing enforceable radar speed limits on certain arterial streets in the City and ordered posted. Current policy allows outside water connections "to homes within five hundred feet of the City Limits. This six - month old residence is approximately one -half mile out side the City Limits. The property owners have not been successful in finding a producing well.. City Council referred 'the matter to staff and continued consideration of this request to the January 7, 1980 Council meeting. -2- December 17, 1979 "'247" P.G. & E. RATE Council considered the letter from Wesley INCREASE Chesboro, President, Redwood Empire Division, League of California Cities, which letter sought support of local governments from throughout the Redwood Empire Division in order. to prepare a challenge to the P. G. & E. rate increase request. Councilman Cavanagh was directed to represent the City at the January meeting of the League. CHERRY VALLEY The City Council authorized staff and the Re- NEIGHBORHOOD PARK creation, Music & Parks Commission to continue the pursuit and design for a Fitness Trail around. the perimeter of the play area at Cherry Valley School. PARTIAL OCCUPANCY SUNRISE SUBDIVISION RESO # 8745 NCS Resolution No. 8745 N.C.S. approving occupancy for a portion of Sunrise Subdivision introduced by Councilman Harberson, seconded by Councilman Balshaw. City Engineer Hargis showed a video tape of. the status of the subdivision and pointed out the places of concern and the places which he recommended for occupancy (Lots 34 to 49 and 110 to 142) . Introduced by Council - man Perry and seconded by Councilman Battaglia.
