Modifications to the 'Senior - Planner-Frank Gray explained that by.
Genera] Plan. 'and EDP State law,:. the General. Plan and Zoning' Ordinance
Re's #6466 NCS -. are- to be by- January 1, 1974. ' In
(continued) addition, , the, Planning' Commission suggested
that the,,tnvironmen:tal Design Plan should be
eonsi's,tent with the .General Plan and the Master
Plan o.f Zoning. He reported .that- the'Planning
Commission held a numb.er.of public hearings on
the modif'ications and each proposed change was
individually -considered.
The Planning Commission and Department of Com-
munity Development were complimented on..the

Upon- conclusion, Mr. Bettinelli offered the

Mr. E. Curtis of the Irate Taxpayers' Associa-

-tion stated -that the Association has taken no
- formal action on the matter yet, but will let
the•City know of its position. He indicated
strong opposition to the regulations.

motion was made by-Councilman Perry, Jr., and
seconded -by- Counci -lman Mattei, approving the
action of the- City4of•Petaluma to join with
the City Santa Rosa Cloverdale, Healdsburg,
Sonoma, and Sebastopol in the filing of a peti-
tion-for reviewlof the administrative order
promulgated'by .the EPA under date of October 30,
