HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2007-198 N.C.S. 11/19/2007 Resolution No. 2007-198 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California AUTHORIZING A TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM VARIOI<1S STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT 0500206 TO THE S. MCDOWELLAND BODEGA AVENUE PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE/REHABILITATION PROJECT 0500106, USE OF THE STREET RECONSTRUCTION FUND 2640 AND APPROVING THE NEW BUDGET WHEREAS, to complete the McDowell/Bodega Rehabilitation construction project properly, additional funds are needed; and, WHEREAS, areas of McDowell Boulevard, not identified on the contract plans, require full pavement reconstruction; and, WHEREAS, the signal poles at the intersection of Caulfield Lane and McDowell Boulevard need to be relocated in order to meet ADA compliance; and, WHEREAS, the Various Street Reconstruction Project 0500206 is complete and has excess funding; and, WHEREAS, the fund number 2640, the Street Reconstruction Fund, is no longer being used and has a balance of $77,952. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of Petaluma, California is authorized to transfer $239,745 from the excess Various Street Reconstruction Project 0500206 balance. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Petaluma hereby: 1. Approves the Total Project Budget in the amount of $3,627,697. 2. Approves the Construction Budget of $3,080,000. 3. Authorizes expenditures of $77,952 from the Street Reconstruction Fund 2640. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
