Council. Meeting
- Special meeting the .Council of the City
of Petaluma •was ,called to order by Mayor
Putnam -the .hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m.
Attendance
Present: Councilmen Brunner, Cavanagh, Jr.,
C,lee:ak., Daly, Mattei,,•Perry, Jr.,
and Mayor_
Absent: None.
Notice of the Call
Notice`of•s.pecial meeting ,called for March
13, 197.2, the certificate of the City Clerk
of,•the delivery of said notice, and the
consent of the members present of the City
Council to the holding of,said meeting, .
submitted and filed...
Purpose of the.
The meeting was.called to consider request

bid for the material for McN''ear Park lights.

Letter, dated March 8, 1972, from Chief of
Education
Police Larry-Higgins giving approval and
Res #6000 NCS
recommending that the Council grant a permit
to the Petaluma School District to hold a
"March for Education" and a rally at Walnut -
Park on March 18, 1972; and further, that 'the
request has been approved by..the Tr:affie Com-
mittee.and the Parks and Retreat -ion Department,
read and filed.

Material for further explained by Mr. Roy Kelly, Public
McNear _Park Works Superintendent. Separate quotations
Lights (Continued) will be received on the lamps. Mr. Nolan
recommended that the low.bid be accepted;
whereupon, Resolution #6001 N.C.S. accepting
proposal from.AMFAC.Electrical Supply Company
to furnish certain lighting equipment for
McNear Park and rejecting a portion of the
proposal, was introduced by Councilman Clecak
seconded by Councilman Daly, and adopted by
7 affirmative votes`.
Adjournment There being no further business to come
before-the Council, the meeting was adjourned
at 7:40.o'cl-ock p:m. to a study on
the Environmental Design Plan Methodology.
