Adjourned Meeting July -10 , 1 '. 1 Following- conclusion of Mr. Pavlick's pre sentatiori, City Robert Meyer,explained the..City's position and, as recommended, in his letter, dated --J uly 6, 1- 972,' to the Council, he proposed that -the Council'approve the renewal o`f the health plan with the.County of Sonoma and pay the,. full . amount . -of $17.02 per month for- 'ea,c'I employee's,coverage and adopt the salary. ranges-as -set forth in ,Appendix , . "A" , of his :letter; effective July 1, 1972. ` Said letter submitted'and filed. Counc suggested that the Council consider contributing to the Police Assistance League .(P•:A.L. ). Drill Tream for-its trip to Milwaukee; Wisconsin, to perform in the nation- wide drill competition: He noted that the_" movie - company f -ilming in Petaluma donated $1,0 to the team. Chief'of. Police Larry Higgins added , that the team needs approximately another $1,000 for .the. trip. Following a 'brief discussion, the City Manager was directed to prepare the neces- -sary legislation for`Co consideration at' the July- 10 adjourned. meeting.
