Adjourned meeting -oI. the Council of-the City of Petaluma was called-to order by Mayor Putnam at•the hour of 3:00 o'clock p.m.. Attendance Present: Councilmen.Brunner, Cavanagh, Jr.; Clecak, Daly, Mattei, Perry, Jr., and Mayor Putnam. Absent: None. Agenda A A motion,was made by Couric,ilman Brunner and seconded by Councilman Daly, to move agenda Item #28_-- Subdi.vi,sion Ordinance- -for considera- tion at this time. Motion carried unanimously. Upon recommenda- tion by the City Attornfey on the.procedure for the addition, a.motion was by Mattei'and seconde'd,by Councilman Perry, Jr.; to repost -the subject Subdivision- Ordinance and consider for adoption on August 21, 1972. Motion carried ;unanimously.' Councilman.Perr-y, Jr., was asked to contact Duisman and inform him to'regi "ster'his complaint with the,Animal Off- icer.for appropriate haftd.ling of the matter. Leash Law Councilman Berr.y. Jr.; raised questions regarding. the Le °ash Law and, commented on t'he' number of un- licensed dogs running at' large; and that these - unl-i.cens.ed dogs' ;have, :not .had rabies shots, . and therefore, present a. serious. health problem. City-Attorney' stated that the Leash Law is - difficult .to po11ce; enforce, and prosecute.
