Council - Meeting. Adjourned meeting -oI. the Council of-the City
of Petaluma was called-to order by Mayor Putnam
at•the hour of 3:00 o'clock p.m..
Attendance Present: Councilmen.Brunner, Cavanagh, Jr.;
Clecak, Daly, Mattei, Perry, Jr.,
and Mayor Putnam.
Absent: None.

A motion,was made by Couric,ilman Brunner and
seconded by Councilman Daly, to move agenda

tion at this time. Motion carried unanimously.

tion by the City Attornfey on the.procedure for
the addition, a.motion was by

to repost -the subject Subdivision- Ordinance and
consider for adoption on August 21, 1972.
Motion carried ;unanimously.'
Ordinance #104 M.C.S. regulating .the subdivi-
sion of land in the City of Petaluma; requiring
the, - filing of preliminary, tentative, and final
maps-and establishing procedures therefore;
establishing minimum design standards; requiring
construction of public improvements in accordance
with minimum standards.; regulating and establish-
ing procedures for the division of. property into
four or le,ss . 1 , ots (parcel maps);,setting forth
rul'e's, regulations, and procedures for the pro-
cessing of ,subdivisions; imposing minimum- require -
merits.upon subdividers; setting forth duties and

administration and enforcement of the rules and
regulations; prescribing penalties for the viola-
tion of its provisions; repealing Chapter 22, and

Leash Law
Councilman Berr.y. Jr.; raised questions regarding.
the Le °ash Law and, commented on t'he' number of un-
licensed dogs running at' large; and that these -
unl-i.cens.ed dogs' ;have, :not .had rabies shots, . and
therefore, present a. serious. health problem.
City-Attorney' stated that the Leash Law
is - difficult .to po11ce; enforce, and prosecute.
