August 17, 1970
Council Meeting Regular meeting of the Council of the City
of-Petaluma was called to order by Mayor
Putnam at the hour.of 7:30- o'clock p.m.
Attendance Present: Councilmen Battaglia *,.Brainerd,
Brunner, Cavanagh, Jr., Joerger,
Mattei, and Mayor Putnam.
Absent: None.
*Arrived at 7:35 o'clock p.m.
Invocation The invocation was given by the Reverend
T. Hall Bisset, Penngrove Community Church.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of'.August 3, 1970 and August
6, 1970 were approved as recorded.. The
minutes of August•10, 1970 were amended
as follows:. Page.2, Item - Budget 1970 -71,
"Mr. Meyer noted that the budget provides
$1,533;865 for. personal services and
totals $3,330,,151 -- the highes,t'budget_
in the history of the City of Petaluma. ".,
The minutes of•August 10, 1970 were then
approved as amended.

territory_ designated "Petaluma.Annexation
70 -2" to the City 'of' Petaluma, was 'intro-
duced by Councilman Cavanagh,,Jr., seconded
by.Councilman Joerger, "and ordered published
by 7-,affirmative votes..

tral Service Area now.includes
of Windsor and Roblar, and it is recommend -
ed these.two sites be replaced by a
single site to.-accommodate the refuse
generated by the Central Service Area
