Absent:, None.- Executive Session The Council retired to an executive'session. The meeting was called back to order at 8:30 o'clock p.m. Water Commission Resolution No. 5609 N.C.S., appointing. Appointment Donald Petro to the Water Commission, was, Res. - 4560'9 N.C.S.. introduced Councilman Joerger,.seconded by Councilman Brainerd, and adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Sonoma County Resolution No. 5610 N.C.S., to Sonoma Grand Jury County Grand Jury, was introduced.by Res.. #5610 N.C.S. Councilman..Mattei, seconded by Councilman Battaglia, and adopted by 7 affirmative votes..-The City Attorney was directed to forward the subject resolution to the Grand. Jury immediately- Local Housing City .Manager Robert Meyer reminded the Authority Council that in a letter date'd.October 29, 1970, . from Supervisor Bob'Theiller, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors requested action Sonoma County . in -. corporated cities by•November',25, 1970, whether or not to .join with'the- County in forming.a County -wide local.housing authority; -rand that a report will be made by Councilman - Cavanagh, Jr., at the Nov - ember-16,19-70 meeting on the subject for Council consideration.. Consideration replac=ing 'the . meters to be removed on Washington Street and Pe.taluma'Bo.ulevard North.was deferred. Mayor.Putnam directed that a letter be ; forwa - rded'to the Chamber of Commerce of. the. - Council's action indicating.that. such action was taken from the,viewpo.i t of the shoppers and the public, and that the matter of parking for em- ployee - and employers will be considered - at a later date together with the Cham- ber's ass istance on the,problem.
