Council Meeting
Regular.meeting of the Council of the City
of Petaluma was called to by Mayor
Putnam at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m.
Attendance
Present:_ Councilmen.Brunner,_Cavanagh, Jr.,
Clecak, Daly,. Mattei, Perry, Jr.,
and Mayor Putnam.
Absent: None.
Invocation
Due to the absence of the Reverend Kenneth
Russell, St, James Church, no invocation
was given.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of'October •18, 1971, and Octo-
ber 27, 1971, were approved as recorded.

City Attorney Edouard Robert reported to
the Council that , the -supply of City Codes
has . .almost. depleted, and instead of re-
ordering the present Code, he recommended
that •the Code'..'be updated and modernized,
by.having'an independent review of exist-
ing. ordinances made for_- Council ..approval.
He explained that the,pres'ent Code was
published by Michie - Pu'blishing . Company
o.f Los Ange'les,.but.due to its slow sup-
plement:- service, he recommend`d_ that Book.
Publishing Company Seattle, .'Washington;,
r.ecodify and.. pulbl sh. the Code. He 'esti=
mated the cost of the work to be $5,00;0',
