Council "Meeting " Re;gular meeting of the Council of the City of
Petaluma was called to.order by Mayor Putnam
at the hour of 7 :,30 o'dlock p.m.
Attendance Present: Councilmen.Battaglia, Brainerd,
Cavanagh, Jr., Colin, Joerger,
Lipman and Mayor Putnam.
Absent: None.

Councilman Brainerd reported that a request

Committee meeting today and recommended for

granting the church an additional curb opening
and removal of one parking meter. Motion
carried unanimously.
Chamber of'Commerce
Councilman -.Lipmdn reported on the.highlights.of
the. 'Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors'
meeting held today,, The main : topic under
discu ssion was the bond issue to be included
in the June ballot as.five separate measures,
and it was-'dec by the Board to send a letter
to all Chamber members requeEitIng support of
these measures.

Article II of'the, Petaluma City Code of 1958, by
amending Sections 22.,11 and 22.22 to establish
the number of copies' of maps, the statements,
to accompany the.maps and the fees to be paid
upon the filing of tentative and final maps of
a subdivision,, was introduced by Councilman
Brainerd,, seconded,by Councilman Lipman, and
adopted by 6 affirmative and 1 negative votes.
Councilman Cavanagh, Jr. voted "No" and stated
that he preferred acting upon the whole matter
at one time.
Summer Water Rates
Resolution #5.206 N.C,.S. establishing summer
Res. #5206 NCS
water rates for the summer of 1969 pursuant
to the authority of Section 27.44.1 of the
Petaluma City Code 1958, was introduced
by Councilman Lipman, seconded by Councilman
Joerger, and adopted.by 7 affirmative votes.

Councilman Lip requested that a study session
regarding Youth
be field soon to discuss youth problems in the
