Council "Meeting " Re;gular meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma was called to.order by Mayor Putnam at the hour of 7 :,30 o'dlock p.m. Attendance Present: Councilmen.Battaglia, Brainerd, Cavanagh, Jr., Colin, Joerger, Lipman and Mayor Putnam. He added that the Board will consider this point,. Removal of One Councilman Brainerd reported that a request Parking Meter from St.,Vinc Church for removal of one parking meter on Avenue between Howard . Western S . treet.and Liberty Street for enlargement of an existing garage was discussed at the Traffic Committee meeting today and recommended for Council il approvdli A motion was made by Council- man Joe rger, and seconded-by Councilman Brainerd, granting the church an additional curb opening and removal of one parking meter. Motion carried unanimously. Chamber of'Commerce Councilman -.Lipmdn reported on the.highlights.of the. 'Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors' meeting held today,, The main : topic under discu ssion was the bond issue to be included in the June ballot as.five separate measures, and it was-'dec by the Board to send a letter to all Chamber members requeEitIng support of these measures.
