Absent None. Invocation The invocation was given by the Reverend Carl Young, Freewill,Baptist Church. Approval of Minutes The minutes of June 2,. 1969 were approved as recorded. Letter, dated June 16, 1969 from Chief of Police Larry Higgins giv- ing approval for the: event and recommending that a permit be authorized, read and filed, whereupon Resolution #5240 N consenting to a parade to be held.on June 29, 1969 was introduced by Councilman Brainerd, seconded by Councilman Lipman, and adopted by 7 affir- mative votes. Sewer Main.Extension Letter, dated May 27., 1969 from Mr. Frank R. Drainage Problem - Letter from George Thut, President, Bernard Maria Drive E. Director of Public Works David A. Young informed the Council that the area has been inspected by his department and that proper drainage facilities will be installed to solve the problem.
