Attendance Present: Councilmen Battaglia, Brainerd, Cavanagh, Jr., Colin, Joerger, Lipman and Mayor Putnam. Absent:( None. Temporary Appro- Ordinance #836 N. C. S. making temporary appropriations priation Ordinance for current department expenses , chargeable to the appro- Ord.. #836 NCS priations of the fiscal year 1966 -67 to cover necessary ex- penses of various departments until the annual appropriation is in farce, was introduced by Councilman Colin, seconded by Councilman Cavanagh, Jr., and adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Personnel Ordinance Ordinance #837 N. C. S. amending Chapter 2 of the Petaluma Ord. #837 NCS City Code of 1958 by adding thereto Article IX, Sections 2. 88 through 2. 103 to establish a personnel system, was introduced by Councilman Cavanagh, Jr. , seconded by Councilman Colin, and adopted by 7 affirmative votes. American Hotel Resolution #4536 N. C. S. declaring the American Hotel, any Property located 133 Petaluma Blvd., North, a public nuisance, Res. #4536 NCS directing its abatement by demolition, and that the costs of the abatement be declared a special assessment against the land upon which the hotel is located, was introduced by Councilman Robert S. Lipman, seconded by Councilman John W. Cavanagh, Jr. , and adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Use of Fairground Resolution #45'37 N. C. S. authorizing the City Manager to l9� July 4, 1966 execute license agreement for use of Fairground facilities Resolution #4537 NCS on July 4, 1966, was introduced by Councilman Philip L: Joerger, seconded by Councilman Albert L. Battaglia, and adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Adjournment There .being no further business to come before the Council -, the meeting was adjourned. A Budget Study Session followed.
