A. Adoption (Second Reading) of an Ordinance Amending Chapter 20 (Signs and Sign
Structures), Sections 20.020, 20.140 and 20.150 of the City of Petaluma Implementing
Zoning Ordinance to Allow Freeway Facing Signs for Shopping Centers.

B. Adoption (Second Reading) of an Ordinance to Establish Radar Enforceable Speed
Limits on Certain Streets within the City of Petaluma. (St. John/Bates)
2. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Resolution Authorizing the Police Department to Designate a Police Officer as the
Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Officer through June 30, 2013, Authorizing the Transfer
of Funds from the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Fund to the General Fund in an
Amount Equal to the Salary and Benefits of the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement
Officer, and Authorizing the City Manager to Include these Items in the I st Quarter
Budget Adjustments. (Fish/Stapleton)
Resolution Ordering the Submission to the Qualified Electors of the City of an
Ordinance to Impose an Annual Parcel Tax on Parcel Owners in the City of Petaluma
to Fund Specified Park and Recreation Facilities and Programs in the City of Petaluma
at the General Municipal Election to Be Held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012,
Requesting the Sonoma County Board Of Supervisors to Consolidate Said Election with
the November 6, 2012 Statewide General Election and Providing For Submission of
Ballot Arguments and Rebuttals. (Danly/Cooper)
C. Continued Discussion and Possible Action Related to Placing a Sales Tax Increase
Measure on the November 2012 Ballot. (Brown)

A. Resolution Adopting a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Downtown Trestle
Rehabilitation Project and Selecting the Alternative I to Rehabilitate the Trestle

4. PUBLIC HEARING
A. Resolution Ordering Abatement of Nuisances Consisting of Weeds Growing Upon
Public and Private Property in the City of Petaluma and Ordering the Fire Department
to Abate Said Weeds by Contract if Property Owners Fail to Do So. (Fergus)
