Copy of letter from County Counsel to Pacific Airlines dated Sept 18:,
1;958, proposing that Pacific Airlines apply for'and be authorized to operate 'a
.scheduled route .from San Francisco°.,Oakl'and through Sonoma County
(Santa Rosa) to Sacramento 'and Reno, submitted .and filed.
At the suggestion of- Acting Mayor King,.. it was the decision of the
Council to wait until Pacific - Airlines had applied for this route:; and then
pass a resolution recommending the granting of a franchise to Pacific Airlines
for the proposed route.

Acting Mayor King noted that the City Clerk had called attention to
the fact that the - Cash Basis Revolving Fund is inadequate to cover City
expenditures during the dry period and that consideration should be given to
increasing this fund 'next year.

Acting Mayor King - stated that he had.been informed by Mr,. Lew Barber.
that a group of business men inFetaiuma were quite interested in whether or
not the proposed ordinance would allow a sign to be placed somewhere , along
the freeway to direct people to service stations, motels,, etc. , I within the
City.
City Attorn.ey.Ed Robert explained, that the ordinance would "merely
have jurisdiction with ' in the City limits.
Inasmuch as it was believed t hat present Mr. Barber was to be pres nt at
