Mayor Glass opened GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT / PUBLIC COMMENT ON WORKSHOP ITEMS.
Blake Hooper, Congressman Jared Huffman's Office, offered continued support of dredging the
Petaluma River.
Jasper Caddell, Rivertown Racers, submitted a letter in support of the dredging project.
John FitzGerald, Petaluma Waterways, urged Council to make a plan to make the river dredging
a priority.
Robert McEntee, Petaluma, expressed concern about continued flooding and is in support of
making dredging the river a priority.
Kevin Butler, Adobe Road Winery, Petaluma, in support of dredging the river.

Motion: Approve A. Introduction (First Reading) of Ordinance 2634 N.C.S. of the
City Council of the City of Petaluma Repealing and Replacing Chapter 10.15,
"Medical Marijuana," of the City of Petaluma Municipal Code, Retitling the
Chapter "Cannabis," and Extending the City's Cannabis Regulations to Medical
and Non - Medical Cannabis Uses in the City, with the following edits: On
handwritten page 46 of the redlined version of the ordinance, the paragraph
that begins, "WHEREAS, to protect the public health, safety, and welfare," the
redlined phrase, "while preserving access of qualified caregivers and primary
caregivers to medical cannabis" should read, "while preserving access of
qualified patients and primary caregivers..." On handwritten page 54, in
paragraph D of Section 10.15.040, revise the phrase "no customers permitted at
the business location" to say, "no customers or primary caregivers or qualified
patients permitted at the business location." On handwritten page 56, in Section
10.15.070, on the fifth line from the top, revise the phrase, "will eligible for or be
issued" to read, "will be eligible for or be issued." Also on handwritten page 56,
"Section 10. 15.090 Prohibited Cannabis Activities a Public Nuisance" should be
renumbered to "Section 10.15.100..."
