(cont' d) o March 2, . 1959 Bids on ,3 Near Police Cars ,p cone ® d Mr.- Frank noted that he had submitted a report to the-Council some 3 or 4 years ago, wherein it was determined that it 'wa s actually cheaper to trade these cars in every year. With the rising ;cost of new cars in recent years, however.,. he that another 'study along these lines would'd'etermine if this procedure was - still. feasible, The City Manager was directed to submit a report to the Council, taking into consideration depreciation and all costs involved, before the ,1st of July. A resolution awarding the bid to Price' Roche Motors was then adopted as follows: Res, #2:198 N C. So introduced by Councilman Van ,Bebber, seconded by Councilman Gustafson, entitled, "RESOLUTION.AWAR'DING CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE (3) NEW 1959 MODEL SEDAN AUTOMOBILES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
