Resolution of' Pol.cy fo r_ Planning.Commssion. re
Matters
Councilman Ellis, Coutc.il representative on the City Planning Comm -
mission, asked what the. Council ° s wishes were in regard to use permit
recommendations to the County.
Some members of the Council were of the opinion that only use permit
recommendations of a serious nature which might halve some affect on the
City - should be referred to the Council by the Planning Commissliono Other
members were of the opinion that rezoning recommendations only should be
referred to the Council..
Following discussion on the matter, a poll. was taken to decide if the

League games, inasmuch as the proposed new recreation building would not
be constructed in time .for the games this year.
Acting Mayor King related what had taken place on this .subject in the
past, stating it: . had. been felt that the portable type of temporary facilities
would . be a very undesirable solution to the problem. , The'Council had then
initiated the necessary action for construction of the recreational building
at - the 'Park.
