Copy of Decision No. 587110 --Public Utilities Commission in the matter
of the application of California -Water Service Co. Jor an order 'authorizing sale
and transfer of water system to the City of Petaluma, submitted and filed.

Council, Questions the Council., concerning the various funds, etc. , were
answered by the City Attorney,
Discussion was held in connection with the use of words, "operate"
or "direct. ",-- rather than ."advise", in the second .sentence of the last paragraph
under the heading of '.D-e Enterpri.se General, Description.
City, Attorney Robert stated that in his opinion,. ' the words "operate"
or "direct" could not be used in - the subject sentence ,in the Official Statement
without a charter amendment, inasmuch as the basic duties of th&Water
Commissi'on will 'be to advise the Council. -

(1) Under. "City off'Peraluma", Page 15 - Include mention of the
proposed traf ways plan for Sonoma County, prepared by DeLeuw,

(2) Page 7, under "General Description", - ,5th paragraph .- - Change
to: "The proposed 'water system will be oper'ated by the* Water Dept.
of the City of Petaluma,
(3) Under. "Introduction", Page 4thparagr aph - Change from
11, miles of aqueduct: to 1.6 miles of aqueduct.
