Manager 'and other City Officials for the cooperation given, him during the preparation of his report. A letter from North. Marin County Water Dist. dated Dec. 31, 1959, re alignment - of proposed MarinA.queduct south of'Petaluma, was read and filed at this time. 'The letter suggested that they meet sometime next week with the representatives of the City of Petaluma to review this problem. The City Attorney explained that Mr. Layton would like to know if he is authorized under his agreement to attend this meeting: A motion was made by Councilman.Van..Bebber, seconded.,by Councilman Crinella that Mr. Layton be authorized to attend the meeting with North Marin County - Water Dist. The motion carried with ,7 affirmative .votes. The City Engineer; City Planner, City. Attorney and Councilman Van.Bebber were also to attend the subject meeting. Matzen, who explained that he felt a very dangerous condition exist ed, and that word should be sent . to the Pepper Kindergarten Trustees. that remedial action should be taken just as s .. oon as possible. Councilman Van,Bebber suggested that thought be given to the correct zoning of the block bounded by. G", -Sixth and -Seventh Streets inasmuch as this property . includes the parcel of land which the .Pepper Kindergarten is interested in purchasing from the .Petaluma Sch pol Bb a id . Although' there are commercial. buildings located on the block, it is zoned "R- at the present time.
