RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2007-08 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
(CDBG) ACTION PLAN TO ALLOCATE ADDITIONAL 2007-08 REVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma functions as an "entitlement jurisdiction" under the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG) Program; and,
WHEREAS, as an entitlement jurisdiction, the City operates within the. guidelines of a
five year Consolidated Plan (2005-2010) and aone-year Action Plan; and,
WHEREAS, those documents require that "any program or project change which
constitutes a modification of 10% of the annual allocation shall require a formal review and
approval by the Council"; and,
WHEREAS, the Petaluma CDBG Program has additional revenue in the amount of
$136,000, which constitutes approximately one-third of our 2007-08 entitlement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby allocates the
additional 2007-08 revenues to the following projects:
PPSC Senior Meals Kitchen Upgrade $76,000
COTS Transitional Housing Energy Conservation $40,000
PEP Senior Housing Water Conservation $20,000
Total Re-Allocation $136,000
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
