Special meeting of the Council of tbe'City of Petalumd, called to order
by Mayor Parent.

.CALL, FOR, SPECIAL. MEETINQ
Call for special meeting, .together with.certificate of mailing and consent
of members of Council to the holding of said meeting,, sub mitted and filed.
Mayor Parent announced that the purpose for this meeting was to consider
and act upon a sub-cohtract for soil - mechanical engineering for the proposed
small boat harbor and to adopt a resolution solution a ccepti . ng grant of easement
(Gute,rmu.te property).

that HaT'ding Associates be retained to do the" soil - exploration work for the
proposed City of Petaluma marina, read and filed.

Mr.. Robert.T. Lawson, representative of Harding Associates, addressed
the Council explaining the scope of the work and *answering various questions
by members; of the Council. He stated that if his firm should be authorized to
do this work, they would be on the job tomorrow. To questions by Councilmen
, Ma:r,zen and King, Mr. Lawson answered that ',after making their initial studies,
they would know definitel y whether or not it would be feasible for the City to
proceed with this project.
The following resolution was then adopted:
