Answering questions members of the Council Mr. - Noble stated that he believed the State Small Craft Harbor Cozrimission would appreciate what his firm had done and their reasons for 'doing it' that it usually takes 2 or 3 years before a harbor is filled to full. ca p a ., that the State' Small Craft Harbor program is actually to encqurage private enterprise_; etc. Councilman Van Bebber started that he: was rather surprised to learn of , the letter from Inland Harbor & Resort Owners Association which was, read tonight, as - he had discussed this with - ` several ®rganizatians from Marin County. After these. organizations had found o'iit that the harbor would be put - out to concessionaires and that it would be privately operated, they had seemed to be in- 'favor of. the project. The recommendations made by Noble Harbor Engineering were to be further discussed at a meeting with Mr. Noble next Monday afternoon at 3000. A study session was scheduled for 7o3,0 next Monday night to discuss with the property owners in the DenrrBan area the possibility of forming a sewer assessment district.
