Councilman Ellis, the City Manager at this time -asked the Council's feeling'conce'rning the closing of the City Hall .on Dec, 24 and 31. this year., He noted that the .24th had been declared a holiday for Federal employees and the 31st, a holiday for State employees, due to these days falling on a Monday before a holiday this year, There was discussion relative to checking over the list of regular holidays for City employees to determine if some changes could�be made ad:va,ntageously A- motion was then made by Councilman Ellis, seconded by Councilman` Crinella, that the City employees be granted the additional holidays of Deco 24° and. 31 this year, The motion carr-ied by 7 affirmative votes, The City Attorney was directed to prepare a resolution to this effect, to be presented at the next meeting, . 4 T. I ,. I ' . - A December 3, 1962 City Attorney Ed Robert was commended by Councilman Crinella and Mayor Matzen on his presentation at the League of Calif.
