CONSIDERATION.OF BIDS:
Assessment District No. 6 N. S. - .Chain Link Fence - Re of B id Opening
Report on bid opening on subject project dated February 7, 1964, signed by
the Director of Public Works and recommending that the contract be awarded to the
low bidder, Anchor Post Products, Inc. ,whereupon

PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS:
Letter from Chamber of Commerce, dated February 3, 1964, re commending
the on Department for their. Roost Club and the fine job they have done over
the past rwo years in providing dance activities for Petaluma youth, read and filed.
The Mayor stated it was a pleasure to receive this type of a letter and asked
that it be referred to the R'ecr:eation for their information.
Letter from Associated Plumbing Contractors of Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino
Counties, Iine. , dated February 7, 1964, re th&- ssociatioii has co- operated with
various bodies inn acid outside. the building i idustry and , wish to extend the same
courtesy to the City, read'and filed.,
The Mayor is.uggested this matter be., called to the attention of the Building
Department.

After a brief discussion, it was the decision of - -the Council•not- to- install a
pipe and .that the matter should be referred to the Flood Control Zone .II A.
Discussion: - Interim Sewer Policy
After a lengthy discussion, the City.Attorney wa's directed to prepare an
ordinance 'to provide ,for a minimum. connection fee of $200. 00' per single.- family
structure and , to eliminate anything to cover sewer main extensions,
