ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmen Battaglia, Brainerd, Cavanagh, Jr. , Colin, Ellis, Gans, and Mayor Van Bebber. Absent: None INVOCATION: The invocation was given by Reverend Fred E. Rusk, First Presbyterian Church. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes from the meeting of September 8, 1964, were approved as recorded. 1 4- PUBLIC HEARING: South Petaluma Annexation No. 1 - This being the time set for hearing of protests and comments on the subject annexation, the City Attorney announced that no written protests had been received. rd There being no comments from members of the Council or audience, Ord. Letter from the Mayor to William V. Foster, dated August 25, 1964, re the City Attorney informed the Council that there is '.insufficient time to place the swimming pool issue upon the ballot for the �November election and that.it is the desire of the C'ounc'il to meet with the committee in.�a study session in the near future to discuss various possibilities, read and filed. The -Mayor added than he would :like to have.more information regarding design, location, construction and maintenance costs; etc, before Council action.
