HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 07/12/19654 63 MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL PETA LUMA, CALIFORNIA July 12, 1965 Council Meeting Special meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma called to order by Mayor Mrs. Helen Putnam at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p. m. Attendance Present: Councilmen Brainerd, Cavanagh, Jr., Colin, Gans, Joerger, Lipman and Mayor Putnam. Absent: None Notice of the Call Notice of the Special Meeting called for July 12, 1.965, the certificate of the City Clerk of the delivery of said notice, and the consent of the members of the City Council to the holding of said meeting, submitted and filed. Purpose of the Meeting The purpose of the meeting was to consider final map approval of Garden Estates Subdivision #3. 192- Planning Commission Resolution #19 -65 approving final map of Garden Estates Subdivision #3 (located „ between the Freeway and South McDowell Blvd. and adjacent to Monte Vista Subdivision), submitted and filed. Report of Director of Public Works, dated July 9, 1965, re recommending certain provisions for the subject subdivision agreement, read and filed. Assistant City Engineer George Miller presented the final map for Council review and described the location of the subdivision, which, City Manager Meyer added, is known as "Monarch Manor ", whereupon Resolution #4323 N. C. S. approving final 'map of Garden Estates Subdivision #3 was introduced by Councilman Joerger, seconded by Councilman Brainerd', and adopted by 7 affirmative votes.
