Councilman Gustafson �Topbkted the recommendation' of the. above Com
mittee, that the proposed sewer Iine in: this area crossl over the dead ®:end at
'Vallejo St. to Baker'Couri down Baker Court .to Wilson.. St. and out Wilson St;
to Lindberg Lane.. COunellman.GUstafson stated that this would Cost a. little
more than the originally planned route of the line, but it .was felt. that t his
method of severing the area would be more advantageous to the Cty
Councilman King was of the opinion that the line should be brought .
through some of the undeveloped property in the a ea thereby allowing th -e
City to negotiate with the property owners who would be affected° Councilman.

After further discussion; the matte 'was referred back to the Corn-
mittee for discussion with propertr'owners ' and'the' builders of the Armory°
T1ie Committee was also directed to determine the cost of installing th'e. line Y
by eitiher method and check into the matter of certain easements "which might
be involved. Their report was directed''to be submitted. to the Council at the
meeting of Oct. 1, 1956.a

To a question 'by'"Councilznan King as to why the City Council and
developers of land in this area had not been notified of the water situation,
MY` :, Y/lau stated that the Water Company became aware of the fact that they
wr only be able to serve about 1600 more outlets approximately one year
ago. He stated that engineering studies have been: made of the situation, and
it -.has been found that it is not economically possible to bring more water to
F'etuluma at this time.
The possibility of obtaining a. "feasibility report" on the water problem,
from "an economic, and engineering standpoint was discussed.
It was the final decision of the Council to hold an informal meeting with
rpembe',rs of the Citizens' Committee on Water and the City Council at 7 :30 P. M.
on Monday, Sept. 24th, before the date of the Public Utilities Commission
hea= ring,' to further discuss the problem.
