League of Calif. Cities Conference
Mayor Schoeningh stated' that he believed much had been gained from the
various conferences attended at the North Bay League' of Calif. Cities meeting
last in Los Angeles.
Councilman King commented on a .speech re joint use of recreation areas,
auditoriums,, etc., requesting that copies of this speech be mailed to the Board
of Education and the Board of Supervisors by the City Clerk.
Mr. Frank informed the Council thei.t copies of some of'the speeches
could be obtained -from. 'the League of Calif.. - Citie's if the Council same.
,At the re q uesL of Councilman Adams,: a copyof. the speech made by the
San J. se City Manager re School Districts was directed to be mailed to each
member. of the Petaluma School Board and each member of the Payran School
,Board.
Councilman Gustafson. informed the Council that -a portion of the Street
on the 400 block of Baker Street had' sunk about 3 inches. due to recent work
performed there'. He requested that this matter be taken care of by the
contractor who had done this work.
City Manager Ed Frank stated that the City Engineer was aware of this
arid th.e..,m.atter would be attended too
