Special meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma called to order by 'M5,ybr &, ROLL I: CALL : Present: Councilmen. Adams,. Bigelow, Brown, Crinella, Gustafson, King and Mayor S6hoeningh, 'Absent: None, CALL FOR THE MEETING The Clerk read the Mayor's call for, special meeting, the consent of the members mhers of the City Council to the holding of said Special Meeting, and the ce, of the City Clerk of the mailing of the call for the meeting. PET1,11 & COMMUNICATIONS: Mayor Schoeningh announced that two letters had been received, which N d�be read ead for information only at this time; whereupon, the following c.omnaxiinications were read anal filed by the Clerk: - Letter dated Nov.. 8, 1956, received from Governor Goodwin J. Knight, ur, gi , n g . that Executive Officers of cities and counties personally check on the ,readiness of their Civil Defense and Disaster organizations and the status of 'their operational plans, read and filed.. Notice received from U. S. Army office of the District Engineer dated Nov. 9 1956, of public meeting to be held on Nov. - 20; 1956, at 7:30 P. M. in Superior Court House, Ukiah, re functions and capabilities of the various i age! .Pubf! c acies involved in flood fighting operations read and filed. 'CONSIDERATION OF BIDS: . Storm Drain. Construction This being the time set fdr opening of - bids for the construction of A storm d-rdin in the Booker Subdivision, the following bids were opened and read by the, Name & Address Total Bid Ghilotti Bros., Inc., San Rafael $2637,50 Dallas Wilson, Inc., Fresno $575L 40 M. Amaral, Petaluma $2392.00 1 The C ouncil being in agreement that the low bid, of M . Amara should be .acceptecije, a resolution awarding the bid was read and adopted as follows: Res. #1784 N. Co S. ,. by Councilman King, seconded by Councilman Brown, entitled, "RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A STORM DRAIN IN THE BOOKER SUBDIVISION, AUTHORIZED -BY ORDINANCE NO. 462 N.
