Regular meeting of the C ouncil of the City of Petaluma called to order

A 15 minute recess was called to allow time for the Committee to study
th- bids.
The meeting was called back to order,,
Counc:iltrYn Crinella. Chairman of the Committee, reported the
Coma ittee ° s recommendation that the bids be held over for further study.
The Council being in agreement on this matter, awarding of the bid was

Councilrh,d.n.King reported that there were two bills before the 'State
Legislature forming a SanFrancisco Bay. Area Rapid Transit Commission;

however, Sonoma County a some other nearby Counties - had been 1&ft- of
the district, He. stated that the Sonoma .County Board of Suporvisorshad -
passed a resolution recommending some amendments to *oife bill if it :passes,
but they had suggested that the City of Petaluma do nothing about- recommending
the passage of the bill at this time, inasmuch much.as.we. are not a of.
