C ONSIDERATION OF BIDS: Official Advertising This :being the time set for opening bids re official advertising for 1958 the Clerk announced that one bid had been received from the Petaluma. East W St. Overpass at Frepway Mr,', Cletus Cory addressed the Council requesting to know if anything was being done about the dangerous situation which exists at the Freeway overpass at East Washington. St. Mayor .Pa.rent stated' that the City had gone over this matter with the ^ . State officials and pointed out various problems to them shortly after' Mr. Cory had called the matter to the Counci.l"s attention° Mr. Frank informed mro Cory that he had again - brought this problem. to the attention of the State about 2 or , 3 weeks ago. The State - admita it is quite a serious problem and that it will. take considerable planning to remedy the situation. Free Concerts Mr. Cory stared that the Petaluma Mu=for l Band would have more than. $9000. to dra,Wn bn from the Musicians° free music for rhe. community during the next year. , He stated that they 'would' be very happy to use these funds in accordance with any suggestions the Counc Lmight ha.vee Budget Study Budget Sect ion 90.
