dated June 3, 1,955, requesting permission for 11 outside _sewer
connections; and letter of 'explanation thereon from the Director
of Public Works dated June 6, 1955, were read and filed by the
City Clerk. ,
Mayor Schoeningh stated that Mr. Clow had asked to have this
matter brought before the Council with the understanding that no
decision would be made at this time.
Following considerable discussion on the subject, the City.
- Attorney was directed to draft a resolution approving, the outside;
sewer connections to be presented to the Council for their , considera -
tion at the next meeting.
Re Council Voting, Procedure -
Councilman Norwood sugges Teed that the.Rules of Procedure to
changed so that the Council would vote according to consecutive
seniority; rather than alphabetically. The Council .being in agree-
m ent with this plan, with the exception of Councilman, Gu`8tafson,
the City Attorney was directed to draw up an amendment to the
Rules of Procedure Ordinance, - whereby the voting would be done
according to consecutive seniority of'the Councilmen, with the
Mayor having the final and deciding vote.

explained that the bids on destruction of the Old City Hall and
Washington Grammar School would be received on June 15, 1955.
Re Dedication of New Police Station
At the request of Mayor SchoenlFgh, Councilman Adams,
representing the committee chosen to make arrangements for the
dedication of the New Police Station, announced that the time
set for the occasion was Saturday, June 11,'7000 P. M.
