Douglass Schwobeda with a plaque in appreciation for his services from February 1951, through June 30, 1955 The Mayor remarked that the Council would miss Councilman SchipTobeda particularly for his sparkling wit, his eagerness to contribute to any problem that the Council had under consideration, his numerous ideas and his faithfulness.
