Continuation of Hearin• re ;rezone - Cedar Grove Park
This -_. _ m the time and place set for the continuation of the
hearing of protests on the rezonirr- arplication. of Ben Woodworth,
Councilman Bigelow, as Council representative for the Planning
Commission, stated that he woa..:i_d, at this time, vote in. favor of
the rezoning of Cedar Grove Park, because of conditions and in
Sri etir of° the whole- hearted support of those affected, as well as
reop_le in the surrounding areas.
Mr. Stonitsch, of the Stonitsch Arvold Lumber Company, pro-
tested the rezoning, stating that his lumber yard was located right
across from this p articular piece of property and the smoke and soot
from the lumber yard blows over to Cedar Grove Park. He believed
that, if homes were constructed there, eventually the residents
would protest to this nuisance.
TviZ . Stonitsch also remarked that he had written a _letter to
Mr.. Dickerson of the Planning Commission protesting the rezoning,
which he would like to have on record. Mayor Schoeningh informed.
Mr. Stonitsch that the letter had. not been read at this meeting
because of the fact that it was addressed to the Planning Commission
rather than the Council. He then asked permission of the Council
to ha the letter referred to them alter being received by the
Commission, so that it would be on file as per 1&. Ston.itsch T s
request . There v%ra .r o objection to this line oz' procedure, and
