REPORTS, OF CITY OFFICIALS o
City Manager
Claims approved for payment by the City Manager were submitted and
filed.
Councilman King requested an explanation- claim #3635 in the amount
of $711. -37, listed in the _name of Parish Bros. for installing sanitary sewer liner
in" Lindberg Lane.
City Manager Ed Frank explained that this matter had"com- 6 up approximately
one year , : ago, and the City Council, at that time, ,felt that there should be an extra
liner uj.ider the freeway so that in the future, should it be necessary to install
another sewer line besides the 15" line which is now there, the City would then
have the means to do so without having to dig under the freeway.
Councilman King asked if the State of Calif. should not furnish the liner
in crossing. our streets .and asked if there ever had been a request made to the
State for this work.
Mr. Frank stated that he believed the Director of Public Works had
negotiated with the State on this matter at the time plans, had been made. for
installing 'the liner -; however:, he stated that he would check into it and report
back to the .Council; whereupon,
- Res. #1650 N. C. S.
