Regular meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma called
to order by Mayor Woodson.
ROLL CALL: a
Present: Councilmen Brown, Deiss, King, Penry, Sedell, and
Mayor Woodson.
Absent: Councilman Myers,
READING OF THE JOURNAL:

REPORTS OF _OFFICERS:
The monthly reports of the Librarian and the Wharfnger
were read and filed.
The Clerk - reported' the filing of Affidavit of Publication
of Ordinance No. 618 C.S.

against.the various City Funds in payment of claims all-owed _ and
approved by the Finance Committee, adopted by 6 affirmative votes,
1 absentee.
FETITIONS.AND COMMUNICATIONS:
Cancellation of ease on 4th and C Sts. Parking lot:
Communication from Basil P. and'Chrissie George,, request -
ing the immediate cancellation of the 1fi%se on their property located
at 4th and C Sts4 which has been used as a parking space for war
workerst- cars, read., filed, and

agreeing to a termination effective the 18th day November, 1946,
of the lease on the property located at-4th and C Sts;. and .directing
the Mayor to execute an agreement terminating said lease,. adopted

City Attorney Brooks was asked to Ir epare a resolution of
thanks to be sent to Mr. George for his generosity in providing
the parking space for war workerts cars.

Mayor Woodson reported that the Division of Highways has
been requested to prepare a project -for the installation of a
Stop and Go Signal at the intersection of Third and D Streets,
as well as a flash warning sign on Third St., approaching the
Western*Avenue intersection.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the meeting,
the meeting was declared adjourned.
