City Attorney Karl Brooks reported that the City Engineer.
had furnished hit with a statement Madison

been built, to. a,grade of - nearly 6 above the official grade,s
that the City Engineer made no recommendations as to how, this
error 1s to be remedied. He further stated that upon receipt
of the report from the Engineer he sent a letter to theGoh0en
Construction Co. c�alling.their attention to the fact that the
street had been built, above grade.., causing the water to back
up on St. andnnotifyingthem that, ,if necessary, they
should rebuild Madison,St..to conform to the proper grade
at least'remedy.the situation. He further stated that.•so• far
he has n6 ' not received 'a reply to.his letter.
The matter was laid on the table pending receipt of an
explanation from the Goheen Construction CP,
.St. Supt. Oscar Glahn reported that-it is necessary for
the to build another- spillway.on the LaOmml.e Tanning

property which he estimates will cost approximately $I-2'5_q00'*
that thO'dredger company will. assist him in the work by
furnishing labor '.for the construction of the spillway® He was
authorized to proceed with - the Work.
