Radio interference:
Councilman Minogue reported that radio dealers are
desirous of the passage of an ordinance governing. inspection of certain
types of installations in order to eliminate radio interference. He
`sugg,psted that copies o f ordinances- in effect in other cities be
obtained as a guide, The matter was* referred to the City Manager
for investigation.
Citizenis Committee:
City-Manager Fickin reported that the newly appointed
City Planning Commission had had its first meeting and had reached
the conclusion that it earnestly solicits the early appointment of
a Citizen-Ps Committee
On this subject, Mayor Woodson 'appointed Councilman Shoemaker
to receive -names from t°hel City: Council of - nominees for the proposed
Committee -and to organ said committee,. it being understood that
the five members of the City- Planning Commission shall also s erve
on- the Ctizen° s.Committee.
The City was directed to prepare a resolution
appropriating funds for the of the Committee
Councilman Shoemaker suggested that the City Manager
