Adjourned..meeting of the .Council of the City of Petaluma called to order by Mayor Woodson: ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmen.Deiss, King, Minogue, Myers, Seidell, Shoemaker, and Mayor Woodson, Absent: None. The Council. and City Manager discussed .at .length the contents of Ordinances:14 and 15 N:C ".Sm, which were presented for introduction; .and Ordinances 12 and 13 which were before the Council for adoption. Fallowing .an explanation by the City `Manager of certain phases of his recommendations for re- organization and betterment, the Council approved said recommendations, whereupon ADOPTION.OF ORDINANCES: en ens to Appropriation Ord. #3s• Ordinance No,. 12 N.C.S.. introduced'by Councilman Minogue, seconded by Councilman Seidell, entitled.. TO AUTHORIZE THE TRANSFER OF UNUSED'BALANCES OF 'APPROPRIATIONS. was adopted by the following vote; AYES: Councilmen Deiss, King, Minogue.." Myers, seidell, Shoemaker, and Mayor Woodson.' Fixing salaries and compensation: Ordinance No. 15 N.C.S. introduced by Councilman Minogue, seconded by Councilman Seidell, entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA FIXING THE SALARIES AND OTHER COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES FOR THE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY. was discussed and .,upon the sufgestion of Councilman Shoemaker,. who highly complimented the City Manager fbr'his splendid work for the City of Fetal uma, it was agreed. that the ordinance fixing the salaries of said`­ Offic'iAIs- should include an increase Of salary for the City Manager; effective December 1, 1947, to .the rate of $525. per month. Carpenter Ernest `Waters Fred Matte Chris Beck Otto Berger 'Charles Gorman Lynn Mayfield August Cornil sen Leroy Lounibos M. Vonsen, was adopted by 7 affirmative votes. The introduction of an ordinance authorizing the improvement of McNear Park was held:in abeyance pending the examination ,of .the plans' and specifications for said work the-Direct-or of. Public Works. Mayor Woodson suggested that the. publications of a report showing the financial condition of the City be published each ,year, * in 'the past,. The City ,Manager reported that funds had, been allowed ,for. said purpose.
