City Attorney Kari Brooks reported on the Cherry valley
Sewer project..,stating that he had sent letters to all of
the property owners in pr

Re Carnival license and contribution to 4th-. Dist.�Fair-:
A discussion was had regarding _a resolution - recently
adopted'�by the Council authorizing a contribution of $249.
to.the 4th Dist. Agr., Fair when it was reported that the Fair
v Dist. had collected the sum of $700. from the Carnival which
exhibited there. No action was -taken in the matter but
it `was the consensus ,of opinion that Carnival owners
should have applied: for the license directly.
The matter of,the policy to be followed by the Fire
Department in answering emergency fires adcuring outside the
City Limits was discussed and taken under consideration.
Mr. 1. A. Sloat, General Contractor, - addressed the Council
Objecting to the moving of buildings which have been purchased
from the ,Petaluma High school District aglow cost and moved
4 to. of +her residential sections of the :.City._ He - stated that
some of the: buildings are in a delap_�dated „condition and should
not be permitted to be moved into good residential areas.
The _ City Manager, stated that all houses moved - 'so 'far
had? thoroughly inspected and comply with the 1930 building
code under which the City is now working.
Councilman Deiss.suggested - that it would be well to also
have said buildings,inspected for termites,
