Adjourned meeting of the Council of ;the City of Petaluma
called to order by Mayor Woodson.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmen Minogue., Seidell,- Myers, and Mayor
Woodson.
Late: Councilmen and King
Absent: Councilman Shoemaker.
PETITION'S, COM.:
Communicaton - from Petaluma Post #28, The American Legion,
re Armistice Day Parade, read and filed.
Sale of Nissen ppty - 5th and Mt.View Ave.
Notice from T. V. Butts, Tax Collector of Sonoma County,
of Intention to sell tax deeded property located on the corner
of 5th and Mt. View Ave, stating that the s um of not less. than
$600. has been offered by Clyde Gibby for said property, read
an_ d filed:
-The question of securing a higher price for said property was
brought up, the City Manager poin ting out that said property is to
be sold at auction to the highest bidder if the will agree
to the sale.
The matter was referred to the City.Attorney for advice next.

introduced by Councilman Sedell, seconded by Councilman Minogue,
granting said application in line with the recommendation of the
Planning Commission.., adopted by 4 affirmative votes, 3 absentees.
City MO-As report "Erroneous Tax Bills."
Report from the City Manager on the subject of "Erroneous
Tax Bills ", read and filed.
The matter of ,a loading zone at McKinley School was left
in the hands of the City Manager.
The request, reported by Councilman Minogue,, that a 25 mi.
per house traffic sign be installed on Wilson Sti at the City
Limits, was discussed without action.
Taxi -cab Regulations & Ord.
Suggested provisions for a proposed taxi -cab ordinance
were reviewed by the Council. Mr. Lohn R. Ficklin,, City Mgr.
stated that the City Attorney suggests combination of ordinance,
including mass transit vehicles, as well as t8A -c0s, and
recommends Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
procedure be used in preference to franchise procedure., and
the the City Attorney and he needed to know the wishes of the
City Council in order to proceed with the documents.
After a lengthy discussion Mayor Woodson appointed Council-
men King, Minogue, and Deiss as a- Comittee to meet with the
taxi -cab owners and bring back'a.report to the Council.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further.business to come before
