ROLL CALL.: Present: Councilmen Deiss, Minogue, Myers, Seidell, Shoemaker, and Mayor Woodson. Absent: Councilman King. PETITIONS, COM. & PUBLIC HEARINGS: Recommendation of Chief Robert E. Peters that Traffic Officer A. Bigelow be sent to T Officers Training :School read, filed, and referred to the City Manager for consideration. INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES: Ord. 75 N.Ces. introduced by.Councilman minogue, seconded by Councilman Deiss, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ATTENDANCE OF POLICE - OFFICER DELBERT RICHARD COLE AT THE TRAINING COURSE OF THE NATIONAL POLICE ACADEMY, FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION AT WASHINGTON, D. C." WAS READ AND PASSED TO PRINT BY 6 AFFIRMATIVE VOTES, L ABSENTEE. CONSIDERATION OF 1 .7NFINISHED BUSINESS: New auto for Police Dept: Bids received on Dec.20 for the . sale to the City of a new 4 door sedan automobile were reviewed by the Council, whereupon Resolution x#266 N.C.S. introduced by Myers, seconded by Councilman Deiss, accepting the bid of Hill Plaza Garage for a new 4 door Sedan Kaiser De Luxe automobile for the total sum of $1090.79, plus the 1948 Kaiser Sedan, adopted by 6 affirmative votes, 1 absentee.
