It was reported that the crossings at East D and Hopper Sts. have

City Attorney. Brooks reported having "received a communication
from the Sacramento office of the Division of Highways in which the
department stated that the $7,500, -000. which had been appropriated to, the
State of California, Department of Public Works, had practically 411.
been allocated to existing pro jects of the Department of Publ c Works,
most of which were projects in and near the metropolitan areas, and
that it would be impossible for the City. of Petaluma to use or re,c!ei,ve
any of these funds for the Main St. widening project..
Mayor McFadden suggested that ati the St. Helena meeting of the
League that the matter be discussed with some of the officials of the
League.
Zoning Map:
Councilman Myers reported that the committee had been working
regularly on the zoning map, which they expect wi l be completed
and ready for submission to the City Council at the next mee:ting..
Mayor McFadden complimented the committee for its splendid work-.
