Special meeting of the• Council of the City of Petaluma
called to order by Mayor McFadden.
ROLL CALL:
re,en..t: Councilmen Deiss, Gervasoni, Ingerson, Dyers,
Penry, Woodsbn, and Mayor McFadden.
The Clerk .read the call which stated that the meeting
was for the purpose of :opening and considering .bids for materials
to be used in the widening of Main Street, Proij.ect No. 4; and for
the adoption. of a resolution approving the Memorandums of Agreement
for Project #4.
Bids from tnjestinghouse Electric Supply Company; Cline
Electric; Baugh and Lidd.le; and. Crescent Company were
opened, read and referred to the City Attorney and City Engineer
for investigation, - contracts, for the mater.i.als to be awarded
later .
Resolution #4481 C.S,.
introduced by'Councilman Woodson, seconded by Councilman Penry, .
approving certain Memorandums of Agreement. for Project No. 4 and
directing the Mayor and City Clerk to sign said Memorandums,
adopted by 7 affirmative votes

Regular meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma called to
order by Mayor McFadden.
ROLL CALL
Preaent.: Councilmen Dei ss, Gervasoni, Inger-son., Myers, Penry, Woodson,
and Wayor McFadden.
READING OF THE JOURNAL:
The minutes 'of last regular meeting of March 16th. and the Special
Meeting of March 30th were read .and approved as recorded..
REPORTS OF OFFICERS:
The monthly reports of the: Auditor, Treasurer, ;Police Judge,
wharfinger, and Pound.man,, were read and filed.

introduced, by Councilman Gervasoni, seconded by Councilman Woodson, 0:rect-
ing the Auditor and Treasurer to draw warrants (Nos. 2177- to 2357 inclusive)
against the various City Funds in payment of claims allowed and approved
by the Finance Committee., adopted by 7 affirmative votes.

Transfer of funds:
Resolution #4483 C.S.
introduced by Councilman Gervasoni, seconded by Councilman Wo odson,
directing the Auditor and Treasurer to transfer the sum of 3 from
the Miscellaneous Revenue Fund to the General Fund,- adopted •by ,7 affirmative
votes.
• Mayor TtificFadAen appointed Councilmen Woodson? P,dnr' and Pryers to
draw up .a resolution of condolence to th.e family of the 'late Robert S,.

.Zoning Maps:
Councilman Myers presented two copies of preliminary zoning maps,
prepared by the City Engineer, which :naps were referred to the .City Clerk
for posting in conspicuous places for review by the citizens..
A brief report was made of the widening of Main,Stre6t, Counti.lman.
P;enry stating that the work i, proceeding satisfactorily.
Award of Contracts for Materials:_,., -

introduced by Councilman Myer seconded by Councilman Gervasoni, accept-
ing the"bid of the 'vile &tinghouse Electric 'Supply. Gompa:ny to furnish approx-
imately'4,620 'lineal feet off electrical conduit at the price of $.1539
per lineal foot, with an allowance or discount of 5% for payment oh or
before the 10th proximo month; and to furnish.17 combination i,solatng
transformers and disconnection potheads, at the price of 427.54 each,
net ca =sh in 30 days; and accepting t'ne.�bd of Baugh � LiddTe to furnah
a.ppr.oximately 6,368 feet of .No. 8 B,. &; 5..: Cable at the price of
$98.30 per 1000 feet, including three reel s at $12.00 each for.which
credit is to be given to the city if r'eturned within 1 year in. good
condit;ion., also agreeing to allow or give a cash discount of one -half of
oneper cent i,f paid. within 10 days from date of delivery; directing
the CI ty Clerk to notify said above - mentioned successful bidders of
tie award of said contracts and request delivery of said materials to
the city,, pursuant, to said contracts; adopted by 7 affirmative votes.
